Paper Bouquets
Many of the flowers I make, are made as if they where picked in the fields. It often feels like a given that the last point of the process is to bind them together with a paper ribbon. Dates, initials or flower names can be inscribed on this flowing strip of painted paper.
And since these flowers doesn’t wilt, they can usually easily be rearranged later on, something that gives them a little bit of life of their own.
Or they can be kept exactly as they are, marking a memory of someone or a place in the past.
